Agriculture or Agri-Environment Consultant

Location: Aberystwyth (Pwllpeiran) or Cardiff

The successful candidate will join the ADAS Welsh Agricultural Team, providing agricultural and agri-environmental advice to clients. Although the precise responsibilities of the role will depend on the skills and experience of the candidate, the successful applicant will need to be sufficiently versatile to provide a range of consultancy services to farmers and other industry stakeholders.

Candidates should be educated to degree level (or equivalent) in Agriculture or a related subject, have at least 5 years of relevant experience and have an up-to-date knowledge of farm business management, production systems, and agro-environment policy. The pay range for this full time and permanent role is from £25,088 to £32,118 with starting salary dependent on qualifications and experience and progression determined by performance.
