Job Summary
G03 – £16,440 - £17,161
Conwy County Borough Council is developing its team of Community Recycling Officers to work within designated community areas within the County to increase recycling and reduce waste by communicating with the residents of Conwy.
We are looking for excellent communicators who are highly motivated, well organised and responsible individuals who have a good understanding of sustainable waste management and recycling and environmental issues. You must have experience of community engagement and be able to interact confidently and enthusiastically with all age groups.
You should be sufficiently flexible to deal with some evening, early morning and weekend work and an enhanced Criminal Records Bureau check is also required.
The Post holder will spend a large proportion of their time outside of the Office and will be expected to access all areas of the County.
The ability to communicate in Welsh is advantageous for this post.
