The World Land Trust (WLT) is an international conservation organisation that takes direct action to save tropical forest and other wildlife habitats. As well as supporting threatened wildlife these habitats perform a variety of important ecosystem services, such as carbon storage and water regulation. By safeguarding and restoring habitats such as tropical forests WLT’s projects help protect the ecosystem services on which we all depend. Where these ecosystem services benefits need to be quantified projects are designed and managed by WLT’s Ecosystem Services Team. Job roleIn the immediate term the successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day administration and co-ordination of WLT’s Reforestation Programme. They will also provide support for the research and development of new ecosystem services projects and strategies and provide technical assistance on ecosystem services-related project activity, in particular the use of REDD+ techniques. It is intended that in the longer term project management of other ecosystem services programmes will also be assumed. The successful applicant will be
