Bradford Beck Project Officer

Salary: £22,350 pa plus up to 5% pension contribution

Yorkshire Wildlife Trust is one of the UK’s fastest growing environmental organisations and seeks to appoint a Project Officer for the “Bradford Beck as an Asset” project with the Aire Rivers Trust.

The project is the first step towards achieving ART’s vision to see the Bradford Beck as a social, economic and environmental asset. It will develop partnership-based approaches for catchment improvement including preparing a catchment plan, building a stakeholder community, helping the Aire Rivers Trust bid for further funding, and supporting immediate activities to improve the Bradford Beck. Applicants should have experience in the environmental sector, preferably in water, catchment or urban environmental areas, and have the ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders from government agencies and large companies to members of the public.
