This role presents a rare opportunity to work on a special project as part of a team dedicated to saving threatened species and protecting diverse habitats through partnerships and community engagement. The Community Coordinator leads and coordinates an engagement program to raise awareness of the wider community and mobilise action to protect the diverse landscapes and unique wildlife of Queensland's Outback environments. Utilising a diverse skills set, the role works collaboratively to leverage engagement opportunities - from running information stalls, to coaching volunteers to undertake outreach activities, to working with WWF marketing and communications experts to reach audiences across digital channels. Ideally you will have a degree in environmental conservation, community development or equivalent experience and a knowledge and interest in environmental issues.
