We are seeking to appoint someone to carry out scientific research directed at improving our understanding of how climate change affects the global hydrological cycle.

The position is funded by the PAGODA project through the Natural Environment Research Council Changing Water Cycle research programme.

You will have:

·         good first degree in a numerate science subject

·         a PhD in Physical sciences

·         proven understanding of statistics and ability to analyse numerical data

·         experience of presenting scientific results to a range of audiences

·         excellent communication, presentation and organisational skills

·         a general knowledge and interest in climate change and variability

Experience of working with scientific data in government or industry and/or manipulating large datasets would be an advantage
