Description

We need a talented and imaginative scientist to carry out research on the interaction of ice sheets and climate and the consequent changes in sea-level during the last glacial cycle.

You will conduct novel Earth System model simulations of climate and ice sheet change and evaluate them against proxy observations, in order to improve scientific understanding of how the climate system works on millennial timescales.

You will have:
- PhD in physical or mathematical science.
- Strong scientific analytical ability, creativity and self-motivation.
- Interest in palaeoclimate and climate change science.
- Experience in computer programming and data analysis.
