We are seeking a research and advocacy intern for our India Initiative. Based in our San Francisco office, the position is focused on Indo-U.S. collaboration on climate and clean energy. The intern will build connections between NRDC and others working on India and clean energy, research, analyze, and strategize about a variety of issues, and draft blogs, fact sheets, and position papers. The internship provides an opportunity to engage substantively at a high level with critical issues related to climate change and clean energy. Law students, engineers, graduate students focusing on environmental and/or energy policy, and South Asia specialists will be considered. This will be an unpaid position starting in January and will go through May/June 2010. Applicants must be willing to devote a minimum of 18 hours per week to the internship.
